In Connections[Beta], a Metro Movement is a single movement with multiple locations (campuses). This movement might have student leaders from multiple campuses making decisions together about ongoing ministry. Some student leaders could follow up with surveys from a campus across town. A good example of this is Cru Brooklyn. For strategic reasons, the local leaders have decided to have one movement for 11 campuses. This would be set up in Connections[Beta] as a metro movement.
This is different from a Metro Team with multiple movements that occasionally do things together. In San Diego, there are two fairly independent movements at SDSU and UCSD. They will share a fall retreat, some socials, and leadership training. But, the day-to-day ministries run independently (they lead their own Bible studies, outreaches, large groups, etc.). These would be set up as two movements in Connections[Beta].
Connections[Beta] has flexible configurations that will match how your team does ministry together. Movements and scopes can be complicated, but Connections[Beta] can work within that complexity.
