Why do we have Contacts?

In the Campus Ministry, the word “Contacts” is used broadly and can mean different things depending on context. In Connections, Contacts are people we are likely to have an ongoing relationship with. It’s unlikely that you will have an ongoing relationship with every person who fills out a survey, so not every person who fills out a survey becomes a “Contact”.

But, that does not mean that every Contact in Connections is involved with the ministry either. It could be someone that you want to keep inviting to Bible study. It could be someone who is busy but wants to come to play spikeball sometime.

Your contacts list is for people who responded when you reached out to them from the Inbox or people you add directly to Connections from an existing relationship.

In short: Contacts is for people we will likely have an ongoing relationship with.
