All Local Admins have been given the ability to perform Administrative Tasks in Connections[Beta] Admin. This includes mass assigning surveys, changing affiliations, updating SMS Templates, creating custom list views, and sending out mass text messages. Movements can have as many Local Admins as they want. Unfortunately, student leaders are not allowed access to Connections[Beta] Admin. We hope to add this functionality for student-led movements in a future release.
What is the Movement Admin then? The movement admin is also a Local Admin. The only difference between a Local Admin and a Movement Admin is that the Movement Admin is the person who gets text notifications when new surveys are in Connections[Beta]. There can only be one “Movement Admin” per movement.
UPDATE: Local Admins are now able to change the Movement Admins on their own. The new contact the choose must:
- be visible to them (ie they are in at least one movement together).
- have a staff license already. Student and Volunteer leaders are not allowed to be Movement Admins yet.
