Overview of Fall Survey Process

  • Finalize Typeform survey(s) with the Find More Freshmen (FMF) team.

  • Once the survey is ready, start having new students fill it out.

  • Survey responses are automatically imported into Connections and will be visible in the Movement’s Unassigned List.

  • When new surveys arrive in the Unassigned List, the Primary Movement Admin will receive an SMS notification so they know it’s time to assign surveys to leaders.

  • Survey responses that say ‘no’ everywhere (and only no) will be given a status of “No Permission to Contact”. We can use the survey results in reports but not follow up with them.

  • Movement Administrators will assign surveys to leaders for follow-up.

  • The leaders who were assigned surveys will receive an SMS notification telling them there are people to follow up with (The notification will also have a link to the Inbox).

  • Leaders will initiate with the new students and keep track in Connections[Beta].

  • If a new student is unresponsive or expresses no interest, the leader will mark that and the survey will no longer be in the default Inbox List Views (since it’s completed).

  • Similarly, if a new student is interested (or even just open to more conversation/invitations), the leader will mark that and the new student becomes a contact. The survey will no longer be in the default Inbox List Views (since it’s completed). When the new student becomes a contact, their engagement level is “Open”.

  • Your leaders can continue to pursue these new students, use mail merge texts, set up groups, log activities, update their engagement level, etc.
