There are some special skills a leader needs to develop. As a leader for the movement you will need to do some planning, evaluate how things are going and ask God for guidance on the next steps to take. The following will help you grow in these areas.

  • The Heart of a Leader – Nehemiah in the Old Testament, shows us the characteristics of a godly leader and the roles he/she must play. Learn from Nehemiah.

  • Relying on God, not Yourself- There are risks in leadership and self-reliance is a common danger all leaders face. Potential Pitfalls of a Leader.

  • Taking Responsibility for Your Own Development – It is important to be proactive in our own growth and occasionally evaluate which areas of our lives God might want to develop. The “Personal Development Plan” is a simple chart to fill out that will help you discover the next steps for your growth.

  • Life on Mission – The ministry skills you learn building movements on campus will still be useful, even after you leave your university. “Life on Mission” has resources that will help you continue to live missionally for the rest of your life, regardless of where God leads you.
