Your first step is to look for other Christian students who might have the same desire. You want to find students who are willing to share the gospel with others, and who are willing to believe God for big things.

Pray and ask God to help you find these students. Just as God worked in your heart, giving you the desire to build a spiritual movement on your campus, He has likely put that same desire in others’ hearts. He can lead you to them.

Step out in faith and try some things, believing God will lead you to find those like-minded fellow students He has already prepared.

HOW TO FIND OTHERS TO JOIN YOU

1. Use the Key Volunteer Challenge.

Ask other students on campus this question: “I’m a student here and I’m looking for others to join a new campus group we are starting. It’s for students who have an interest in God or who want to grow in their Christian faith. Is this something you think you’d be interested in? Do you know anyone else who might be interested in this?”

When you find Christian students who are interested in possibly joining you, use the Key Volunteer Challenge. Watch the video…

The Key Volunteer Challenge is a simple way of presenting the Great Commission and explaining spiritual multiplication. Sharing the gospel and doing the KV Challenge with other Christian students can help you to quickly build a team to reach your campus.

2. Share the Gospel.

It is true that you will want to find others who are already believers to join you, but some of your most excited and committed teammates will be those who come to Christ as you share the gospel with them. Introducing others to Jesus is at the heart of all we do and is another great strategy to find people to join you. A bonus is that you will also meet other believers as you share the gospel.
