4 Spiritual Laws (Interactive)

PRELIMINARY

The preliminary content is to help you begin a conversation that would offer you the opportunity to share the Gospel using the 4 Spiritual Laws.

  • Hello
  • I hope you are fine.
  • There is something very dear to my heart. I would like to share that with you in a few minutes.
  • Have you heard of the 4 Spiritual Laws?
  • Let me quickly share them with you.
  • Just as there are laws in our country that control the way we live, so there are spiritual laws which determine your relationship with God.

Law 1

God loves you and offers a wonderful plan for your life.

The Bible says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16)

Many are not experiencing God’s love because…

Law 2

Man is sinful and separated from God. Therefore, he cannot know and experience God’s love and plan for his life.

All of us have thought, spoken or acted in ways not pleasing to God. This is called sin, and our sins have separated us from God.

The Bible says, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” God is perfect and holy, and our sins separate us from God. The Bible says “The wages of sin is death.” (Romans 6:23)

The third Law shows us the ONLY way back to God…

Law 3

The only way man can reach God is through Jesus Christ. He died for us, through Him you can know and experience God’s love and plan for your life.

Jesus is the Son of God. He lived a sinless life and then died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. “God demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

“…Christ died for our sins…He was buried…He was raised on the third day according to the scriptures.” (l Corinthians 15:3-4)

Jesus said “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except by Me.” (John 14:6)

It is not enough just to know these three Laws…

Law 4

We must each receive Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord; then we can know and experience God’s love and plan for our lives.

We must receive Christ by a personal invitation. Christ says: “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him and he with me.” (Revelation 3:20)

If you want to turn from your sins and accept Christ as your Saviour, you can ask Him to be your Saviour and Lord by praying a prayer like this:

“Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Saviour and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life and make me the kind of person You want me to be. AMEN”

Does this prayer express the desire of your heart?

If so, you can pray right now and Christ will come into your life as He promised.
