Forgiveness

The following report was brought back by Burkina Faso School of Storying trainees who were practicing their stories in their community:

“We went out to the university and we met many groups. We shared the story of the sinful woman who was forgiven (by Jesus in Luke 7). And then the people were saying that they need prayer, because THEY were just like that sinful woman. I told them that we are here to share stories with them, NOT to judge them. I told them that those who were thinking they were sinful, don’t worry…. JESUS can forgive their sins too. We asked them to raise their hands if they wanted to receive Jesus, and 20 OF THEM RAISED THEIR HANDS TO ACCEPT HIM!”
