Community

Community is not an activity but an environment. Sometimes this environment flows very naturally, but sometimes we need to be intentional in building a healthy community where people are experiencing an environment of grace and truth.

Some suggestions to build a healthy community:

  • Visit other campuses: Students from one university participating in meetings and activities of another university help strengthen the bonds of friendship among students involved in a city or region. It also increases the sense of ownership of the movement as students feel responsible for each other.

  • Off-campus social gatherings: Picnics, parties, games night, watching a movie together, etc. The sky is the limit on things that can be done so students build healthy relationships and have fun together.

  • Pray for each other: Enjoy fellowship through prayer can be a powerful way to build a healthy environment within the movement. As students share prayerful requests, they will nurture deep relationships with one another.
